Garvit, who graduated in BBA from Bennett University, Greater Noida, had a tough time while trying to finish his ACCA through online classes. He could not get a hold of the key concepts and could not succeed in the exams despite long hours of effort. Feeling frustrated and stuck, Garvit started looking for a more structured and interactive learning process. Why did you choose ACCA Over Traditional CA?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Like many students who want to be finance professionals, I also wanted to build a career in accounting and finance related fields. But when I started exploring options for the professional course, the Chartered Accountancy<\/a> (CA<\/a>) course kept popping up. But it wasn\u2019t really what I was looking for. This traditional route seemed too rigid, time-consuming, consisted of endless exams, and local focus that didn\u2019t match with my goals. I wanted something more global, practical, and flexible, something that would allow me to work anywhere in the world, not only in India.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you come across ACCA?<\/b><\/h3>\n

While searching on the internet, I have read many blogs and articles for the best courses in accounting and finance and finally came across ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). The more I read about it, the more I felt that it actually fit what I wanted. What attracted me more was the global recognition of ACCA, its practical focus, and the flexibility it offered.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike CA, which has a lot of restrictions and a long, rigid path, ACCA allowed me to study at my own pace and balance my studies with other commitments like part-time jobs, internships or studies. I didn\u2019t want to spend years stuck trying to pass exams without gaining the real-world knowledge I needed.<\/span><\/p>\n

After a deep research, I found that ACCA was the perfect option for what I was looking for. Its features like global recognition, practical skills, and the ability to grow in a competitive world encouraged me more to pursue it as a career. It wasn\u2019t just about getting a qualification but about building a career that would help me stand out.<\/span><\/p>\n

What were your initial struggles with Online Classes?<\/b><\/h3>\n

After deciding that ACCA was the right career path, I chose to enroll in an online program from a reputed institute. I thought online study would be a convenient way to manage my other studies with the ACCA program. But as the course progressed, I started losing interest.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They provided study materials, recorded lectures, and some support, but I struggled to get the clarity I needed. Even my basic concepts were not clear, maybe because there wasn\u2019t enough interaction with instructors to clarify my doubts. I often felt lost, unsure about how to translate that knowledge in practical scenarios. Despite putting in a lot of effort, my exam results showed my lack of understanding. I wasn\u2019t able to pass several key subjects. I attempted Financial Reporting (FR) twice and Taxation (TX) once, but the frustration of repeated failure attempts left me feeling stuck.<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you switch to Offline Classes at The WallStreet School?<\/b><\/h3>\n

It was during this struggle that I began questioning my studying approach. I observed that while ACCA was the right course for me, the method of study wasn\u2019t working for me. This missing part of my preparation was the clarity and guidance which only OFFLINE classes could provide through direct interaction with teachers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While searching online, I came across ACCA offline classes offered at The WallStreet School. I visited their website and checked their placement page. I noticed they had a lot of successful alumni, so I decided to connect with one of them on LinkedIn. The one I spoke to was super helpful and shared their experience at The WallStreet School<\/a>. He spoke highly of the teachers, the frequent mock tests, and the overall support he received. His positive feedback gave me the confidence to enroll.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joining their offline classes proved very beneficial. Being in a classroom helped me stay focused on my studies. Initially, I was at a point where I started questioning my own ability to do ACCA. Then started with The WallStreet School and found that it was not my ability but the technique of studying with offline classes , tests and mocks that made all the difference<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Vidhi ma\u2019am, our teacher, made everything so simple. Even the tough topics that I used to find confusing started making sense. Her way of teaching was interactive and fun, and she made sure we understood every concept clearly<\/span><\/p>\n

I would also like to mention Shilpi ma\u2019am, the lead mentor of the ACCA program, who guided us really well. She shared so many useful tips and explained how the things we were learning would actually help in the real world. Her advice motivated me to keep going and focus on my goals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How did the ACCA course help you get placed at KPMG?<\/b><\/p>\n

For someone like me, getting placed at KPMG which is one of the big four firms, felt like a dream come true, and I owe so much of it to my ACCA preparation. The regular mock tests were very helpful as they showed me where I needed to improve. Trainers’ feedback after every test made all the difference, helping me fix my mistakes and get better with each attempt.<\/span><\/p>\n

The mock interviews were a lifesaver. Our teachers literally prepared us for every possible question, whether it was technical or about handling real-life situations. By the time my KPMG interview came around, I was confident and ready.<\/span><\/p>\n

My hard work and rigorous practice paid off when I cleared my ACCA exams and landed a job at KPMG successfully navigating through multiple interview rounds. I would say having the right learning partner by your side to support you and guide you and handhold you is really very important.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
