Overview: The professional standards to be demonstrated for the benefit of all stakeholders. With this in mind, the place of ethics and ethical conflict is an essential underpinning for commercial activity. Ethics is more than just knowing the rules around confidentiality, integrity and objectivity. It’s about identifying ethical dilemmas, understanding the implications and behaving appropriately. Overview: The central role that finance plays in an organisation, and how and why technologies used impact the finance function. How to use and examine data collected and processed by machines to create and preserve value for organisations. How the finance function is structured and shaped, and how it interacts with other parts of the organisation to achieve the objectives of the whole organisation.

Management Accounting (P1)

Overview: Why costing is done and what it is used for, including appropriate costing methods and techniques and where digital costing might be used. How budgets are prepared and implemented across the organisation, the impact these have, and how techniques are applied to ensure sound short term decision making, against a backdrop of risk and uncertainty, by using appropriate risk management tools.

Advanced Management Accounting (P2)

Overview: How to use cost management, quality and process management and value management to provide organisations with cost advantage. The criteria, process and techniques that are used to decide which projects to undertake, how to manage the performance of organisational units to ensure that they achieve their objectives. How to analyse risks and uncertainties that organisations face in the medium term, especially capital investment decision making, and managing those risks in the implementation of such decision.

Overview: The sources and types of funds and how much they cost. At the Management level, the role simulated is that of a finance manager. The capstone Case Study Examination provides a simulated context allowing candidates to demonstrate that they have acquired the required knowledge, skills, techniques and the mindset required for that role.

Strategic Management (E3)

Overview: The foundation of strategic management and an understanding of the dynamics of the organizational ecosystem and how it affects the strategy of the organization. Strategic choice and how options are generated, linking them to the purpose, values and vision of the organization and how the options are evaluated, chosen and integrated coherently to form the strategy of the organization. How strategy is implemented, how implementation objectives are achieved and how change is managed. What are the technologies that underpin digital transformation and various elements of digital strategy.

Risk Management (P3)

Overview: How to identify, evaluate and manage enterprise risks. Where strategic risks emanate from, how to evaluate them and understand how oversight of these risks is critical to the governance of the organization. How internal controls can be used effectively in the risk management process and how to identify, analyze, remedy and report strategic risks including cyber risks.

Financial Strategy (F3)

Overview: The different strategic financial objectives and policy options that are open to organizations. The types of funds available to organizations to finance the implementation of their strategies, including where and how they access these funds at the right time, in the right quantities and at the right cost. The sources of financial risk, how to evaluate and manage financial risk appropriately, and techniques in business valuation to assess whether a company has created and preserved value within the organization. The valuation techniques to calculate value of organizations and conditions applicable for such calculations especially intangibles in the digital world and how to report intangible value and their drivers in integrated reporting.

Case Study

Strategic Case Study

At the Strategic level, the role simulated is that of the senior finance manager. The Case Study Examination provides a simulated context which allows learners to demonstrate that they have acquired the required knowledge, skills, techniques and mindset for that role.

Normal Entry Route & Exam Exemptions

  • Undergraduate - No exemption to these candidates. They will have to write all the 16 exams.
  • Commerce Graduate - Certification level (first 4 papers) will get exempted. These candidates can start from the operational level and will have to write only 12 exams.
  • Full time Commerce PG - These candidates can go via the “Gateway” route of CIMA, in which the candidates have to write only 5 exams i.e., management case study, E3, P3, F3 and strategic case study. 11 exams below management case study gets exempted for them.
  • CA/CMA (ICWA) - These candidates have to write only strategic case study exams. All the other 15 exams will be exempted.

Special Route - FLP

The CGMA FLP (Finance Leadership Program) teaches the same competencies as other routes to the CIMA Professional Qualification. This prepares finance professionals for careers in management accounting. Students will be assessed on the same material and must demonstrate the same level of competency and experience to earn the CGMA designation and CIMA membership.

With the CGMA FLP, learning is part of a subscription package and delivered online in digital environment. The CGMA FLP offers you the opportunity to both learn the material and sit online assessments at your speed. As there is no Objective Test (OT) exam date to schedule or work towards, you can study when you want, wherever you are, and even learn the topics in whichever order you like. Case study exams can be sat at an assessment centre or taken remotely online, thus creating a true digital learning experience

Write only three case studies exams with CIMA through FLP route and you will earn the CGMA Designation and acquire real life skills; all while still in college. By the time you will be graduated, you will find yourself to be job ready and a spectacular individual.
Candidates will do management & strategic level of CIMA and will write only the case study exam of these levels with CIMA.

Write only two case studies exams with CIMA through FLP route and you will earn the CGMA Designation within 1.5 years. Acquire the critical skills that are demonstrated at middle and senior level management.

These skillsets along with in-depth knowledge of business & finance perspective will help you to build and progress in your career.
PG-CFMA is program designed by TWSS and built around CIMA’s operational & management level. This is made for the candidates who are in their last year of commerce graduation and commerce graduate candidates with no relevant master’s degree that enables them to pursue CGMA via FLP route.

Our PG-CFMA is approved by CIMA. Candidates needs to clear the case study-based exam in each term to successfully complete this program. Post which they will be awarded with TWSS PG and can pursue CIMA through FLP.

How to register for CIMA Coaching with TWSS?

How many subjects will be taught in CIMA Coaching?

In CIMA training at TWSS, we will be teaching 12 papers. However, the candidate needs to give only 3 exams externally and all others will be internally assessed on the CIMA FLP portal.

What is the time duration of CIMA Coaching at TWSS?

The time duration for all upto 3 exams under the FLP route will be upto 27 months (less than 9 months for each level)

Do I get placement Assistance if I take coaching for only a few subjects?

No, Placement Assistance services are only available to students who take up the above-mentioned package, and not the individual subjects

What is ‘Pass Assurance’ feature of your CIMA Coaching?

‘Pass Assurance’ feature signifies that the student will get access to the lectures and faculty support till he clears the examination.
