My Journey with TWSS in Words

My experience with TWSS has been genuinely transformative. While the faculty as a whole is good and committed, what truly sets the experience apart is the extra effort put in by Himanshu Sir, Manoj Sir, and Puneet Sir. Their dedication goes far beyond what you typically expect — they didn’t just teach; they were actively involved in pushing me toward my goals, especially in helping me secure a job.

It’s fair to say that salaried faculty often work within certain limits — and that’s understandable — but these three mentors really went above and beyond. Mohit Sir’s lectures, while slightly tough to follow for me personally, were still on point in terms of length and relevance. Navneet Sir brings a calm and helpful presence, and Anand Sir’s approachable, chill attitude made sessions enjoyable.

One area where I feel we, as a group, can improve is in building student portfolios. I believe every student should graduate with at least 10 solid models under their belt — that kind of hands-on work would add tremendous value.

Lastly, before joining, I thought I knew Excel and Finance. Turns out, I didn’t — not at the level I should have. The learning here really changed my perspective and helped me build true, practical skills.

Studying finance at TWSS was a roller-coaster ride. One has to be extremely quick and adaptable to keep up with the fast-paced curriculum. The essence of finance lies in mastering the three golden statements — the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement — which form the backbone of financial modelling and valuation. In my journey, I’ve learned that consistency is the key to success.

Initially, i had difficulty at grasping the concepts of financial Modeling and Valuations, but the faculty at The Wallstreet School, Manoj sir, Navneet sir, Himanshu sir and Mohit sir, they were always there to help us navigate the difficulties and help us understand concepts better through the real-world scenarios. I’m grateful for everyone at TWSS, who guided me directly or indirectly through this journey to make it possible.

My journey with The Wall Street School (TWSS) began after I cleared the CFA Level 3 exam. While I was academically equipped, I realized I lacked the practical, hands-on skills required in real-world finance roles.
