I am Ketan Umaraliya, Graduated with softcore engineering stream, Chemical engineering. I had one-year work experience in the domain of engineering consultancy. After one year and exploring other domains of the job world, like every other engineer, I wanted to switch field and wanted to make a career in the finance sector. Apart from perks, one gets by working in finance my love for numbers was another reason why I wanted to make a career in this sector. But odds are against me, with no prior work-ex or no prior relative academic background. With 6 week course at The WallStreet School on “Financial modelling and Valuationâ€Â, I was industry ready, thorough with my basics to advance level of fundamentals taught and discussed during classroom sessions. Excellent faculties of TWSS: Himanshu Jain, Manoj Goel, Mohit Sing, Vikas Vohra, and Pankaj Goel, made it possible for me. Training provided at the proficient level has helped me to comprehend the financial modelling and valuation tools at a professional level. Last but not the least, the placement cell: Punit sir and Anmol sir, is really active and, who really helped me to transform my career from Engineering to Finance.
